Ferrari to auction the last 2009 year F430 made for charity to benefit earthquake victims of Italy
Ferrari F430 cars are hot sellers, especially with the glass window option showing the engine
If you are pining away waiting to buy that 2009 model of the Ferrari F430 supercar, get in line and sign up now for your auction number. The Ferrari company made an official announcement last week that they will be auctioning off one of the last production models to come off the the car manufacturers pristine and hand made assembly line — and the proceeds of the money made will be donated to help the Italian earthquake victims of the 2009 Mediterranean peninsula tragedy.
PRODUCTION FACILITY HISTORY
The car auctioned will be made at their Maranello factory, a facility that has recently gone green by adding giant solar power roof panels to help the plant be more self sufficient and environmentally friendly regarding it’s internal heating and cooling. As the factory workers hand build each Ferrari from the ground up, the climate controlled comfort they are sure to enjoy is making environmentalist normally angry with the company for their poor gas mileage and (rough to report without wincing these past few years) emissions ratings.

IT AIN’T EASY BEING GREEN
There is good news for the earth in regards to Ferrari on the future horizon. In addition to donating to disaster relief funds to families devastated by the earthquake, Ferrari has announced a plan to reduce their vehicle emissions by up to 40% by the 2012 production year. As such, though it is too bad for the soon to be new owner of this piece of Cavallino Rampante motorsports history when it comes to being green, he or she are sure to win a car designed with the utmost of community conscious integrity.
